Spring has sprung and while we are eager to get out the house, we hope that everyone is staying home and staying safe during these trying times. Know that we miss you all and are looking forward to calmer days! That being said, we must continue to provide quality instruction to our scholars. In this newsletter, you will find google classroom codes, classroom schedules, and expectations moving forward. 

Expectations

Parents/guardians, we are asking the following of you to promote student engagement:

• Review work assigned to the student

• Reserve a space for students to complete remote learning work

• Encourage students to get enough sleep

• Set sensible time limits for technology use.

• Talk to students about their work every day.

• Help students establish and follow regular daily routines.

Students, we are requiring the following of you to ensure that all of our hard work does not get “lost.”

• Review assigned work and complete your assigned work by the due date.

• Ask clarifying questions when you need help or don’t understand.

Assignments

You will find daily classroom assignments on google classroom (please see your specific classroom code above). You will also find due dates and instructions for each assignment. Parents, you may also join google classroom to view students assignments. If you have not yet signed up, please do so. Each teacher will host a Google Meet for class meetings. The invitations will be shared via google classroom and  will act as our “classes”. We expect all students to be present, attendance will be taken daily.

9:45am - 10:15am Science (all classes)

10:30am - 11:00am Math (273 & 278)

12:30pm - 1:00pm Reading (all classes) *Tuesdays will be online work only, no google meet classes*
